Fanfic Contest, Cycle 1 Round 1
OH FUX, IT'S JUNE 20TH ALREADY?!
It be that time! I should have sent some reminders out earlier in the week for those who may have forgotten, but I've been WAAAY too tired (also personal life got in the way).
ANYWAY, it's here, it's finally here.
The biggest challenge for deciding the easy round pairings was figuring out pairings that weren't too easy (which is why RenRuki ended up on the chopping block...and believe me, it was a tough choice to make, 'cuz I ship it like whoa. Cycle 2 fodder, I guess :D). And in fact, the pairings I ended up picking aren't that mainstream, but one can kind of figure out how the couple can work without smashing their keyboards in--at least I hope so!
And with all that preamble, your first pairing is....Ichigo/Chad!
Your fics are due on June 30th at midnight, Pacific Standard Time. I'll most likely be up online at that time, because I'm an insommiac :D

No major revisions of the rules, but there's a few things that I wanted to change, since given that I copypast'd the rules from the other site, some things are harder than they need be, and I don't feel like re-editing that TLDR post at the moment:
1)Rather than have one big thread to post all the fics in, you can just post them like you would any other post and I'll link to them all in the voting thread. I assume most everyone in the contest has this place on their F-list, so they'll see it more easily anyway. Just be sure to Put "Bleach Fanfic Challenge, Round X" in the subject so that people will know it's what they need to read to vote. Plus, it's easier for me to keep track of who's written what.
2)I mentioned not to link people to the voting threads via fic, but as I can just set the vote thread to be visable to members only, there'd be no point to that, anyway.
