i think moving away from your animals and boyfriend and family and friends and city you know and everything that gives you support and gives your life purpose would be a really really bad idea.

but only you would know. I tried moving a few times, it was the worst mistakes i made. but moving for a project-type job, like going to a location for say, 6 months to work on research, that might be a really good experience.

i think, like probably half of everyone else graduating from you UF, you'll be working at a coffee shop for a long time while you try to find a job that actually has anyhting to you with your major.

Chuck palanuick work on an assembly line for trucks while he tried to write :)

yeah except your not like me. so dont even bother.... my profession is so different. mine is applied(like yours) but so conceptual(likes chris's) and need based regionaly... that if i want a job/want to go further in schooling/ i muct get out of the shadow of UF which is what i fear the most. the most i hope is i cane find a sweet looking job that looks wonderful on my resume that is only for a short period of time. thank god for feild seasons is all have to say ::cry::

Traveling is over-rated, take it from me.

By the time you get settled in, you're wondering about how much better it is in the "Black Hole". After awhile, you're wanting to make out with a guy named Mauser and wondering how much a ticket back will cost on Greyhound... and how long it'll take to get back the sanity loss.

I wouldn't worry about a job catering to your specialty in this town as of yet. Get a "normy" job that'll pay the bills and put in applications as appropriate whenever they open up. This town is slow as fuck when it comes to turn-over rates in jobs that require a degree, the hard part is *waiting* for those jobs to open up and balance a mediocre job in the meanwhile.

Good luck overall, though.
