even if i go directly into my masters degree in either counseling or education? That should get me a job right quick. I'm just worried about potential difficulties getting into a masters program because of the liberal arts degree.

BS in Liberal Studies - you might have better luck if you flush your money down the toilet.
BS in Child/Family studies... I like where you're going with this. What do you want to be when you grow up? You might want to get just a straight science degree, it's more flexible with grad school and doesn't pigeon hole you into one particular field. Don't you have a lot of science credits from your previous major?
you want to teach, right? what is it that you want to teach and then look at degrees. in my opinion, all undergrad degrees are useless in the real world. it just proves that you can start and finish something. i would rather hire someone with expereince than a degree and no experience, but that's just me.
bottom line what do you want to do for a career - and then work back from there...
yeah - true dat homeskillet! My focus will be on my masters degree in either counseling or education....the bachelors degree wont much of an impact on my ability to score a job after i'm completed with grad school, eh?
