Myths and legends die hard in America. We love them for the extra dimension they provide, the illusion of near-infinite possibility to erase the narrow confines of most men's reality. Weird heroes and mould-breaking champions exist as living proof to those who need it that the tyranny of the rat race is not yet final.

you're the most beautiful being i've ever met in my entire life which.. admittedly, really isn't saying much at all and that is unfortunate but i know man. i know. there are great people out there (somewhere) in the world and you are up there with 'em. i know i am most likely subpar and i metaphorically cower(sp) next to you, intellectually, if that makes sense. all i know is that you're rad and i'm a lucky gal. no wonder all the bitches are so jealous of me. hope you're doing well.
love,
rachel
