COVERED IN PAINT.

The art for kids classes started yesterday, and with me being the new fish, I'm working with the youngest kids, since their class is more "art for fun" instead of "art for fun and profit." It's about ten kids in my class, and let's just say that ten 6 year olds cause lots of paint spills. On me. On each other. The room looked like ( Read more... )

I brought strawberry shampoo and conditioner. They are wee bottles but they're on my desk. Use them as you see fit.

I have plenty of shampoo and all, but it's caked in! I mean yeah, water based paint of course, but that stuff DRIES like a mofo.

I'd offer to help you but you'd have to keep your clothes on. EW! I don't wanna see a naked boy!

Aww, but kids are so much fun.

I've got some heavy shampoo and conditioner if you want to borrow some.

Well yeah, the class was great and the kids loved it cause I drew Doraemon and Anpanman on the whiteboard.

YES PLEASE. =D You can also join Terry in making fun of me.

I bet they loved that. The way to the hearts of children is through their favorite anime characters...or at least, that's what my dad used to always tease my brother about.

How is Griffy-san teasing you? It sounds amusing though.

They did! They're fun to teach because they have no expectation of "art is THIS and not THAT." And I can discuss the merits of Doraemon versus Anpanman. =D

She's going to make my hair smell like strawberries after she counts out every single color!

Hahahaha! They sound like great kids, they really do.

You hair's already blue, it can only get more colorful. XD

Hey, they're using dish soap on those oil birds. You should try that in your hair if it's oil paint right?

Oh, they're fun. They're LOUD, but they're fun. =)

I like my hair just blue! Well, occasionally I'll dye some silver streaks, but blue works!

Thanks, but it's water-based, since these are little ones. =) It'll come out, but paint hardens and it sucks.

I was a loud kid too. Haha! Still am, sometimes, yes I am.

Silver and blue are the colors of granny hair, just saying.

At least it's not that green goo stuff? I hope you don't have to cut any out.

Oh, me too! But ten of them in a room with echoes kinda hurts.

HEY! D= My hair is nice! Now you definitely owe me sushi.

Ooof, not cutting my hair. It's coming out, it's just slow.

It's sort of an introduction to color theory.

I'd just rather not have them use my hair for color theory. =)
