Happy new year, darling! I'm so glad you were able to have an enjoyable evening, for reals. Also, as it turns out I'm glad you couldn't make it to my party, because I ended up having JUST enough food. ;)

On a related note, you totally have to try bacon-wrapped water chestnuts. They are surprisingly good!

I have tried them...they are a midwest party specialty! *grin* We had home made chex mix and pizza... it was pretty damn good.

Nice. I had never heard of them before! I found them doing a web search for hors d'oeurves.
