Does someone know why I can't simply cut and paste a file to my external disk? I just downloaded the Gundam00 movie which is 4.39GB and when I wanted to transfer it to my external disk it said no enough space O_o I have 170GB for god's sake.... arghh I don't understand why it's doin' this but the same thing also happens with FateStay Night OAV ( Read more... )

I tried to copy the same movie with the same size to a DVD of 4,5 GB and it said there was no enough space. Then I tried with a DVD of 4,7 and it again said the same. But when I went and copied it to my external disk it worked!
So I found out on some forums that a DVD (even if it's said to be of 4,7 GB ) actually doesn't allow you to burn on it more than 4,3 GB. So this should be the reason why I could not copy the movie of 4,39 GB to a "normal" DVD but don't know why you could not copy it to your external disk =_= But since I could not put it on a DVD, I decided to download the bigger resolution size of almost 10 GB ^_-

Can you check your version of disk? The two of them is the same.. FAT32? NTFS?
I tried DVD too and it doesn't work either. I don't know if it's .mkv or not... >_

All my disks (external or internal) are NTFS.
I think I have not seen a FAT32 since long time...do you still have some of them?
