So now...i still have to question homestay or not. They sent us an email saying that only 80% of the student will actually get homestay and 20% will be put into a dorm cuz to many ppl put in for homestay. This is not my dilemma...my dilemma is what they said about homestay. They said that you'd have to be home by 10pm..which a dorm is 11pm..so that ( Read more... )

Yeah...personally you couldn't pay me to homestay, because it really is intensive. In addition to expecting you to act like part of the family, they expect you to be a good friend to the family, in addition. This means that it will definitely take up a huge chunk of your time, because you have to be both. It's too much for me. But, on the other hand, it really is an amazing experience, so...I can see the advantages, certainly for someone who enjoys being with people a lot...a.k.a. not someone like me. he he. Ganbatte!
