This thing is becoming absolutely monstrous. However, unlike the work, this chapter is really tiny. I chose to make it so because I'm posting more than one right now, and also because the next one will probably be longer than some of the essays I've written for English 101.

Usagi's dream had been completely forgotten about in all the mess. Rei's fist of fire had set Minako's bangs aflame. Not to mention burning a large portion of her face. Not only that, but no one could seem to stop Rei's hands from burning. No, not burning, flaming. Rei wasn't hurt at all by the pyrotechnics she had somehow set off.
Things had calmed down quite a bit. Usagi was sitting on the couch beside Minako, who refused to go to the hospital. Ami sat beside her trying her best to treat her face. Makoto stood alone in a corner trying to figure out exactly what had happened, mumbling to herself quietly. Rei was pacing, her hands still on fire. Any amount of water that was poured on her hands turned to steam, rendering that completely fruitless. Ami figured that they wouldn't stop flaming until she calmed down, but that would be no time soon.
Rei had almost paced a hole in the carpet before she finally spoke. "I apologize to all of you. Most of all you, Minako. I shouldn't have been fighting you at all these past few years, but mostly because you're my friend. I've done you the most wrong of all, and you've only ever been kind to me. Your feelings have had me on edge, and I don't really know how to respond to them. I realize that I haven't reacted to you properly, and I hope you'll forgive me my transgressions against you.
"Usagi, it's not that I don't trust you. I don't want you to get hurt. I love you, so I want to make sure you stay happy. I realize I've been doing the opposite of that for quite a while now. I'm sorry.
"Ami, I've said things to you that I'm not proud of, and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry, I've just been upset. I shouldn't have taken that out on you, though. Please forgive me.
"Mako, I just want to thank you. You could have pounded me into the floor, and you probably would have had I been anyone else. You never let anyone get away with hurting Ami, and though I apologized to her already, I'm apologizing to you, now."
Even after Rei's speech, her hands were still flaming. "Ami, do you have any idea why in the hell my hands are on fire? This is really troublesome. I don't want to ruin anything else in this house by simply touching it."
No one said anything for a while, afraid that what they had just heard was a lie, or that someone had possessed Rei. They weren't sure why, but Rei's hands were on fire, she was calm, and she felt the need to apologize, a compulsion she had only felt maybe twice in her lifetime.
Minako moved first. She grabbed Rei's hands, and they stopped flaming immediately. The girls around them gasped; Rei and Minako didn't notice. "I forgive you."
None of the girls moved for a very long moment after that. Usagi, Ami, and Makoto were waiting and watching Rei and Minako, who were a very, very far from where their bodies were standing.

The next chapter will finally explain some things. This was mostly filler.
