Gah, so today's word was a bit hard and all I could think of was Pein and Konan. This drabble is on Konan. She might seem a bit OOC but I disagree with people that Konan is a submissive secretary to Pein with no opinions or thoughts of her own. Lovely insight into Konan. I like how it transitions from this delicate image of marionettes and piano wire to something of sheer force. Very pretty. ^^

OMG. Thanks^^ You have no idea how much that means coming from you. Diem Ex Dei was what got me into the Pein/Konan pairing and scenes from your fic were playing over in my head for two days after I finished reading.

It's a nice shipping, especially since it's one of the more canon ones out there and it's got that whole childhood sweethearts, evil villain angsty thing going on for them. There's a quiet subtlety coupled with crushing violence that I really like about them. They are villains but completely human, misguided and beautiful while being so^^ Ok, I'll get off my rant about PK now. I'm a bit obsessed w/ them right now mostly b/c they conform to the new writing style I'm exploring and they are a HOT couple to write^^
