I was confused too. And this isn't the first time I've been in that situation ('sup 1st semester freshman year). I do remember one time I missed if he said 'his girlfriend' or something else and I keep kicking myself for never paying attention at the right times. Either way we're just really good friends. I am grateful for that. But my only explanation is that they either want to encourage a threesome or ease whatever guilt they have, neither of which will happen.

this has happened to me too! I think its because then they aren't hiding anything so they can't get caught later because girls have already basically given them the OK by still associating with the boy after said introduction. Does that make sense its 4 am so idk.
