Old Garou...

Jan 14, 2009 00:31

It seems as if a friend wants to bring the game back.

My first thought is, "Can I be adult enough to play?"

It's been seven years and I still have doubts.

What kind of doubts? Anything that talking through would be helpful for?

Doubts... sentina January 15 2009, 07:56:41 UTC
It's not so much the what as the who. There will be some players there that I hold/held quite a bit of ill will towards.

I am trying to find resoultion but i don't think it will come the way I need it to.

Is out of sight really out of mind?

nope. Sometimes you just have to let things go.

It's been a long time, and everyone is better now :)

OMG. I miss Garou so much.

I'd dump everything but Ling in the NWOD for the game we used to play on Sunday nights.

*sigh*

Probably still going to be a few years before we can do that, although it is on our eventual agenda. Keep the game running til 2013-ish, and I'll bring in a cub to torment all you Elders... :)

Those were the days...

Sometimes I wonder why the current setting is focused more on the draft than the war.

It was the rules that got all screwed up. The setting deffinately made the time invested worth it.

I really miss Old Garou too.

I know who and what you are talking about I think, and honestly I think you can, because you are adult enough to ask yourself that question.

You and I aren't exactly in each others fan clubs mind you, but I want to encourage you to move foward with this and that person. You are one of the people I know who need alot of healing, and maybe you can help some others heal while you're doing it.

Just my thoughts

...if avoidence isn't the best pollicy when strong unresolved emotions may still be in play...

Avoidance rarely lends itself to resolution. It only puts the date of resolution farther into the future.

Probably something you and I should work on eventually too.

Ha! you think you have doubts about going back... (you know it was your fav.!)

I think it would be an awesome idea. We all used to have so much fun. Best game there was, with less drama than the other venues. Also that it would be on a local level, not a national helps.

Troupe can be a lot more fun than Cam in the right circumstance.

(and people can change. :) Worse case, you don't continue to go. Best case, you have fun.

Changes... sentina January 15 2009, 08:07:53 UTC
Yes...I belive they do. If you arent there to see the change over time, the differences may be covered up by the resurfacing of emotions or flat out denial of reality.

Less drama? sentina January 15 2009, 08:04:16 UTC
You must mean less out of character drama...

In character...well...you were there.
