For those of you who may not know, I belong to the largest guild in North America. Running of the Beef: The Shambling was the third anual event for the guild of 3000 people. It was postulated to me, “People play other venues because they can’t own in Vampire.”

I countered with, “People only play Vampire because they can’t hack other venues.”

I think we are both right, after a fashion. I would be interested to hear other people’s opinions.
