Just got back from the UP early Monday morning for the first time. Loved the UP, hated the camping part. Still got to see an old friend, so all in all, a good vacation. .

And not for the normal reasons! Damn hot water tank rusted out today, oh for fuck's sake. This is gonna suck at night when I have to shower for work especially. Hopefully, it'll be done before the end of the week.

This morning's drive home was fine until I got home. Spent a good thirty minutes digging myself a nice path to park! :-D But hey, it sure was pretty outside.  Everyone else make it to work, school OK?

Not much to report actually, but new job is going OK, I guess. Attempts to have more of a social life are paying off though. Sitting at home isolated, get a little stale after some years ( Read more... )

Yesterday while on my to reschedule my going away party from my old job (still sounds weird saying that), I ran into my old friend Wes. I ran into him as I walked into the Games Workshop store on Whittaker Road. We hung out at Aubree's and just generally caught up with each others lives. Like the title says, I've a new job.! :-) I'll be working at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential museum here in Ann Arbor sometime in early fall. Cool part was that I was contacted for the gig and didn't even apply.

Well, time to do the paperwork now. Later. :-)

Still here on LJ, nothing new to report, except that work is more stable now that we have an idea of whats going on. Also, the weight loss thing looks good so far, gotta go find a weight scale that doesn't suck :-)
