I think the tv/dvd combo I bought a week ago might be a lemon. I tried to hook up my PS2 to the front A/V outlets and nothing happened and when I plugged it into the back ones I only get sound while the picture is stuck on the default dvd screen. It's so unbearably fustrating

Funny. My Mom (sis and bro-in-law) are considering NY for our (short) Xmas vacation.

You should definitely consider NY for X-mas. All the major department stores have spend thousands on their window displays and not to mention the Rockerfeller X-mas tree and skating ring. NY is definitely at it's best from Thanksgiving through New Years.

Also, portable DVD players from Target never work for more than a month. :P
