I always feel weird having to tell people that I don't actually have any family, you know? Like it's suspicious somehow.

The reason it is weird for me is that I think people don't believe you and they don't understand. Everyone has a family right? Someone?? An aunt, an uncle, a godparent someone in their life??? Nope.

Sorry that it is so awkward. I wish I could say it gets easier. I guess I am just now learning to make my own family and it has been years since someone with my own blood really cared.

ugh...the always dreaded question. and you're right. how DO you say that? how do you tell someone, no really, that's it. i have no parents/family?

maybe one day i'll come up with some cool way to explain this to people. until then i'm afraid it's just me standing there with my guts hanging out...
