I have been hosptilized before without anyone there except my husband. Thank God for him. It really sucks to be in there mostly naked, hooked up to Ivs and scared to death without your parents. I have a father and brothers but they really aren't in the picture.

what ms.molly said, and...to be in that position without not only the support of your mom and dad, but the basic information needed for good medical care.

having to go to the doctor/hospital is one of my very worst fears.
