more writing stuff happening!

Is Livejournal still okay? Thinking of a nice place online where I can write. What are your suggestions? Thanks. :)

Heyy :D :D (You really had to qualify your question as "non-geek"? Haha)

I'm mostly using Dreamwidth right now (www.dreamwidth.org) and I just crosspost stuff from there. Sign-up is free. Livejournal is too spammy nowadays and communities in Lj are mostly dead. Dreamwidth has more or less no spam. It's okay to use, has a similar format to Lj but if you're looking to follow communities there's... less of it over there. But if you're only looking for some place to write it's serviceable.

If you want more visibility/more general blogging platform instead of fannish/geek, you could try wordpress.org. If you're interested in pretty pretty pictures (and looking to follow people about stuff you're a fan of) Tumblr is more active, although it's harder to use and the learning curve is pretty steep and users there are more around the early teens - teens age range? It's also more visually-oriented. (I don't have a tumblr but I follow a lot of blogs over there.)

Since you're here anyways I'm asking a geeky question :)

I'm not sure if you kept up with your french but is there a french endearment that doesn't translate to "my little flea"/"little girl" that can be realistically said by a guy? someone who isn't very good in french/ botches up the pronunciation? Google is not helping D:
