#01 - I liked the story... everything is quite well done and it's an interesting interpretation of the prompt
#01 - I thought this was an interesting use of the prompt. Your prose is very clear and moves well.
#01 - The language flows really well, and I appreciated the refreshing way that the prompt was incorporated.
#01 - I liked how the reader was led to her decision, also, the line "The realization is not revolutionary. It does not set her world off-kilter forever" - and the end! i'm not sure if this was your intention, but even though the words say 'things will be better' there's a sense of sober-ness that says she doesn't completely believe it that i really liked? ...if that's not what you intended, then, i still liked it!
#01 - This piece felt the most coherent to me, even if it did feel a bit hollow. It was an interesting interpretation of the prompt.
#02 - I enjoyed the way the writer chose to make the timeline non-linear. There were some very pretty lines.
#02 - i enjoyed the language here. the narrative structure was a brave choice.
#03 - this could probably be fleshed out more but it does stand quite well by itself. I like it.
#03 - though there was some ambiguity and awkward phrasing, this piece stood on its own very well.
#03 - The pacing was excellent. Even if I didn't understand what was happening at first, I understood it by the end. I liked the subtle way the prompt was integrated.
#04 - I absolutely loved this. I loved the voice, the use of 1st person worked very well, and most of all, the little twist at the end where he did it on purpose and then modified his own memories. I like how you opened with the thing about the boxes, and finished with the chronological beginning, it tied it together very nicely. I feel like you gave us enough detail to understand the gist of the story itself, which is good, because that's tricky w an au!
#04 - There were honestly a lot of elements that didn't work for me, but the premise and imagery was interesting and it tied in well to the prompt.

Thank you, everyone, for making the sixth round of seouldout possible. The next round will be next year, once the secret santas have ended. If you're interested in helping out in the modding, please PM streams.

Again, thank you!
