Not long ago, Kyuhyun the good pirate captain of the bad ship Kyuline, had been shot in the chest fighting in a fearsome battle for treasure unimaginable. That bastard Changmin, his first mate had forced him to stay on shore until he was deemed whole, then had run off with his damn ship, laughing all the way.
He had almost finished healing, scarred skin underneath the loose shirt that plunged open halfway down his chest, fabric fluttering dashingly in the sea breeze. Tuesdays on the shore meant that the docks were full of stalls, the scent of food and the swish of fashions, all of which he found strangely alluring.
There was one stall he found himself returning to every week. It was not the clothes he was attracted to, but the tall poppy who smiled at the slightest provocation with teeth like a weapon to disarm everyone around him.
“Kyuhyun.”
“Zhou Mi. You look better than you did last week.”
The first time he saw his face, Kyuhyun had it in mind to make the man his prisoner.
“My shirt looks good on you too.”
But ended up captured himself.
“What about on the floor?”
