infinite, any pairing anonymous August 13 2012, 18:35:19 UTC
based on the superfamous Japanese folk song, Nagori Yuki/Traces of Snow. translation:

I'm sitting next to you as you wait for your train,
Checking my watch
An unseasonable snow is falling
"I guess this is the last snow I'll see in Tokyo,"
you mutter, your voice seeming lonely

Even the lingering snow knows when to fall,
After our lighthearted season has ended
Now, spring has come, and you've become beautiful
Even more beautiful than last year

As the train begins to move, your face appears in the window
You're calling out for something
Your lips move in the shape of 'goodbye'
Frightened, I lower my eyes

I didn't realize that as time marches on,
Even childish you will become an adult
Now, spring has come, and you've become beautiful
Even more beautiful than last year

I was left behind on the platform you departed from
Watching the snow fall and then melt away
Now, spring has come, and you've become beautiful
Even more beautiful than last year

oh, this is so sweet and poignant. <3 i love how hopeful this is: while sad, obviously, the reluctant acceptance, assurance and maturity in woohyun's pov paints a far more meaningful picture than something wholly more angsty.

you've definitely opened my eyes to a pairing i previously haven't taken notice of.

(and thanks for the brutal realisation none of the group have enlisted for their compulsory military duty yet. D:)
