i hope you don't mind that i used eunkyul instead of eungyeol!

Jaehee is walking towards him with a sleeping bag - a sleeping bag - in his arms. Eunkyul feels a little out of place with the soccer ball firmly in his arms.

“Why do you have that,” he asks when Jaehee is at audible distance, and Jaehee cocks his head in confusion. “Didn’t you say we were going to hang out at the soccer field for the night? I assumed.... I messed up, didn’t I?” Jaehee replies, embarrassment crawling its way up his neck; visible even in the dark.

“No, no it is okay. We can do something new!” Eunkyul reassures (he has find it hard to reject anything Jaehee asks). Jaehee apologises again, and Eunkyul ruffles his hair to stop him.

They end up lying on the empty field; Jaehee on his sleeping bag and Eunkyul on the dry grass. It is silent as they watch the sky in silence.

“Eunkyul, do you want to heard a scary story?” Jaehee says as a form of breaking the silence. There is eagerness laced his voice and Eunkyul is terrified of horror, scared shitless, but
