Kai stares at his reflection in the mirror as his makeup artist, Baekhyun, evens out the powder on his face. His eyes look back at him, dark pools lined with kohl, stunning in their intensity. His hand is drumming an uneven beat on top of the makeup table. "Make me look gorgeous, Baekhyun."

Jongin looks away from him, his mind already thinking of the next audition, his next chance to prove himself before it's too late. He's not yet ready to give up. Not yet.

Jongin is suddenly alert. He meet Suho's gaze. Suho's eyes are perfectly almond-shaped.

What are you willing to do? Suho asks, the smile never leaving his face.

sorry anon, op here - i didn't expect this to be filled so i didn't check for a while so imagine my shock when it was, lol. thank you for this! it's just as disturbing as i needed and i love the reactions of the others, how they try to make it better when nothing really can? baekhyun part really made me ache for the whole thing and kai was exactly how i'd pictured.

really glad you liked it :) this is actually my first exo fic ever, but i'd just finished reading helter skelter when i saw this and couldn't resist.
