And so I make my grand entrance into the world of blogging after years of avoidance.  Oh Noes!!  It's going to be a neat experiment to see how well I can blog once I've worn all remaining markings off my laptop keyboard (5 keys have already joined their brave brethren in oblivion since I bought the thing in April.  I almost feel bad about it.  But

yeah, unless someone changes my layout to Dvorak, wouldn't that be fun. Or I could try using the speech recognition. Although I tried that once before, and while I was training it with stuff like "You know what, computer? The more things change, the more they stay insane.", it typed out something about bombing Iran, and I immediately shut the thing off and unplugged it.
