We find out on Monday if we got a house. Yeee!

He talked to a friend of his who has some rentals in our area and it turns out one of her tenants is like 1200 behind. She's going to talk to him and ask him to pay or vacate by the 1st. I can't imagine he'll bust out twelve hundred dollars - if he had the money he would have paid his rent. Sooo we ( Read more... )

I hope you’re able to get this place. The only worrisome thing is that someone getting booted out of a house for not paying rent may not have taken the best care of it. I hope it does work out for you though.

I'm not too worried about the condition of the house...its a nice neighborhood and from what I was told the guy had 2 roommates who bailed out on him. I drove by it once and the yard looks decent, not a lot of trash or broke down cars or anything ( ... )

There was a store in one of the malls in Phoenix that was nothing but beanbag furniture. I have no idea what it was called, the place was just filled with these giant bags that were covered in really nice apolstery and very comfortable. I just remember thinking how cool it would be to have a living room like for for people to hang out in. You might be able to find something using Google.

hopefully everything goes well for you! It's so exciting!

I picked out all my wall colors already and I'm going to have to take pictures so you can see when we're all moved in. :D I guess the best way to describe it is that the kitchen will stay the same green that is in the one we have now, the livingroom and the hallway will be a light turqoise blue color, the bedrooms are going to be a shade of yellow, and the bathroom is going to be a very very light gray. haha. I jumped on the paint train almost before I knew for sure what we were doing.

Also, I'm having a hard time staying away from buying new stuff, even though I already have enough crap. haha.
