Check label on the bread.

I found that most breads, and especially white bread, had High Fructose Corn syrup very high on the ingredient list.

Mostly I buy the Aunt Millie breads now - they list the stuff they DON't have (like HFC and a couple of other things) as well as what they have.

Yes. The only HFCS bread-type things we've bought in years are the occasional hotdog and hamburger buns, so I know that's not bothering me.
