Chess seems to me to be a game of rigid rules and customs, it's nature both held up and at the same time held back by it's almost religious formality. When I watch chess I feel as though I am looking at the light of a day already lived.

Some cultures believe that a camera steals a small part of a persons soul whenever it takes a picture, has the soul of chess been pressed thin under the weight of ages it bears?
