[A little bit away, but within range of his thoughts, a remnant pauses in his steps, eyes a glowing chemical green as they try to survey the darkness around him. Too many questions unanswered, the paths too strange and dark. But if he can find his Mother on one...

Who is it speaking?

Similar.

Is he trapped too? Maybe more trapped...

Holding up a hand for absolute silence, Kadaj speaks, and thinks.]

Out of our way...?

[ooc; I hope I did this right!]

[The consciousness inside the crystal detects a reaction to the telepathic probe. Attention now on this little voice of a response which must be nearby. This mind feels familiar, in the same way Sephiroth's own arm would. Thats if it was dismembered and suddenly developed a identity of its own. It can only be one person.]

"Kadaj?"

[Another question. How is he supposed to answer, whoever it is that is asking him? The remnant stares ahead, thinking this odd, disembodied communication that seems to surround him is completely normal.]

What do they need.

It doesn't matter if they don't want Mother.

We-- I. I want Mother.

"Do you know Mother?"

"Mother is glad you have returned..."

[Of course he's not about to reveal that Mother is a part of all of them. Himself and the remnants included. Seems that the Remnants have returned with the same motivation as last time, a desire to find Mother. This might be useful, if the correct strings are pulled]

"...Mother needs Big Brother to lead you now..."

OOC: I am not sure if this is right or not but yeah >>;

[He's feeling something odd, like the sound of the wind, carrying words to him. He doesn't really get it, or maybe he was hearing things.]

"Who--? hm..."

[The small whisper to the words that seemingly came into his mind, almost telepathically. A voice unfamiliar to him, but it seemed to real to be just the wind... he wondered.]

"Two of you...but where is the third..."

[Sephiroth's attention now being extended to Yazoo also. There is a long pause as this information is digested. Two remnants on the same continent, must be nearby as their thoughts and telepathic answers are very clear]

"Mother..." [Again there is an extended pause of this voice-on-the-wind]

"It is up to us now, Mother is gone but always there..."

"Two...where is--... I do not know."

[The words the voice spoke caught his attention... Mother. was what he heard from the voice he thought was the wind. Perhaps, someone was speaking after all, it felt quite real, too real to be a mere delusion.]

"Always... there? What do you mean?"

[His thoughts and voice were the same now. What did the voice mean by up to them? More importantly, he had no idea who this voice was. It was just there.]

(OOC: going to assume that this is just before the Northern Crater log if thats ok with you guys)

"Your brothers..."

[There is the definite feeling of something distracting this omnipresent 'voice', followed by perhaps an almost-smell of the possibly of being threatened]

"Mother is always watching..."

OOC: that's fine with me I'm good for anythingx3

"Hm..."

[His voice was below a whisper. The words were easily heard in his ears, 'brothers.' So there were two others he had no idea of. They exist, however...The strange feeling he was getting, could it be that this voice knew where Mother was?]

"Mother is watching... then where is she?"

[his voice came again. Maybe the voice could help him find Mother. He wanted mother.]

"Who are you?"

[His breath was even when he questioned, trying to see if the voice would answer him again. He was interested. The voice seemed to be stern with truth, he tracked no lies lingering in the voice. Whose voice did this one belong to?]
