[Soon the metallic mass of the ruins of Midgar and its now densely-populated Edge-city comes into a clearer view beneath Sephiroth as the gradual descent to the ground reaches it's crux-point. From this height most people would see -something- in the sky should they look up, but that is their problem. He's got as much right to being alive as anyone ( Read more... )

[Must be an instinctual thing for her to know without yet having laid eyes on him. Never has there been an oppertunity to see what it would be like to be faced with another of such high concentration of Jenova cells, and for it to be Jenova herself...a sleek smirk crosses his lips as his will traces the telepathic reply to determine Mother's location. One black wing disappates into a flurry of feathers and then vanishes completely as Sephiroth hops down to ground level from the platform...meaningful strides that emanate his confidence heading in the direction Jenova headed]

Got you...

I am always with you, Sephiroth, Jenova mentally sends down the link of their cells. A smirk of her own mirrors that of the once-General as she slips silently towards the place of her return silently. He would follow, and she would be pleased by that.

Slowly, she came to a stop and turned to face the direction of the greatest concentration of Jenova cells aside from her own. She pushed long silver hair back over her shoulder before folding her arms loosely over her bare chest and waited. You created quite the stir, my son. The planet shook with your return; it was beautiful.

[This is it, Sephiroth thinks to himself, being sure to keep it entirely to himself. Even his own Mother wouldn't ever be able to read what goes on behind those eyes unless he wanted her to. All this time...and now he finally gets to be with her as she would have been alive all those thousand years ago. No glass tubes, no threads of manufactured life-lines holding her in place. These thoughts just focus him more on the seemingly frail, thin blue frame that he's now approaching.]

(OOC: not sure if you wanna create a log to follow this up or not)

And there he was. Her son had always been the apple of her eye once she had become completely aware of his successful birth and latent abilities with her cells. She had watched over him trapped in that miserable tube high in the mountains, silent and waiting. Hojo was predictable, so she could be patient.

Despite the change in expression, Jenova was pleased. It felt very different to be seeing him when she had the ability to move and interact properly. The sedation in her previous tube had kept her from making real contact, but now... it was like meeting her son for the very first time in a completely different medium.

Silently, she waited for him to close the distance completely. His wants were her wants.

(OOC: We can probably keep it going here, since it's already started and a lot of action posts end up like complete logs anyway. XD We can make a log if you wish, though?)

Just a pale blue figure stark against the mass of debris all around, the scorched black earth underneath their feet and protruding bits of metal all around. She seemed entirely out of place, without possessions, without even clothing. Had no one seen to her comfort? And her safety? Where had the Remnants gone from here since Sephiroth knew they had gone ahead to meet her...leaving Mother all alone ( ... )
