A revised version of the last post. Now with more text!

Ever since my family moved to San Jose (and about the same time we had our first child) there has been a never-ending stream of disease hitting our household. If it's not me, it's my son. If it's not him, it's my wife. If it's not her, it's my father-in-law. These diseases range from the common cold to my latest hospital trip.

I don't know if you've ever seen the movie "X-Men," but there's a character named Wolverine who has a similar power... He's a mutant though.

You make me both happy that I'm nowhere near your household, for fear of attracting The Curse, and frightened that said curse couldn't strike beyond state lines on a whim.

In fact, I'm terrified now that I may have just jinxed myself by taunting The Curse. I'm don't have mutant healing powers! Aaaahhh --!

The worst part of it is that my mother now feels justified in "convincing" me that I am eating wrong. So now I get nightly calls about what I'm eating and what I SHOULD be eating. She's even grilling my wife to see what I ate....

As for the curse....
