Ouch, my Colon!

May 08, 2008 15:15

I was hospitalized again this week for Diverticulitis.  Yuck.  At least this time it didn't perforate my intestinal wall.  I'm back, and relatively healthy. Now I get to eat tons of glorious fiber!  Metamucil, here I come!

Sorry to hear about your hospitalization, but glad to hear your colon is getting better.

Just remember not to pick at it or it'll never heal!

Exactly. Don't let a surgeon operate on your colon. You might end up with a semicolon when he's done. Keep us posted on your progress.

BTW: I moved back to San Diego. I still fly back to Chicago once every few weeks to check up on the business but SD is my home once again. It's nice to be back. I know you always found San Diego kind of boring but for boring guys like me, it's soooo ideal.

Take right now, for instance... I'm looking out the window of my 16th floor apartment. There are old people everywhere. Some are playing tennis. Others are playing shuffleboard. I suppose a self-respecting 35 yr old should want to live in an apartment with a younger crowd. Not me. I friggin' love it here. Even though I'm 35, my dentist tells me that I have the teeth and gums of a 75 year old so in a way, I fit right in with my neighbors.

Hope you feel better.

David

Glad to hear from you! I haven't posted on the front page, but I am up for the post of "Academic Director" at the Art Institute in San Francisco, and one of the requirements is that I get a Master's Degree. I am thinking of doing it in Business Administration, as I really want to get my own game studio opened up, and wouldn't feel comfortable doing it any other way.

We'll be down in SD soon, and I'll let you know the dates here in the blog. Maybe you can come say hi to the kid. He likes people.
