I have been mentioning for the past month or so about entering a contest on y!gallery. In short, the challenge was to imagine what Sephiroth's dress uniform would look like. Well, I did it. Hi, here via zackfans! I'm intrigued by this fic, and the contest you mentioned. Might you have a link to that?

The finished product (i.e. with the love scene) will be on y!gallery, and perhaps here. Given all the crap that's happened lately I'm a little hesitant on putting anything...explicit in my journal.

I know what you mean -- check out InsaneJournal! I'm co-mod of a few choice Final Fantasy comms there (they're called 'asylums', LOL!) and we're always looking to invite folks who might want to check it out. Look for ffvii_yaoi, materia_play, and remnant_bin.

Free accounts over there get 100 user pics, paid permanent accounts are only $30 and give you 300 user pics, and the best thing is that the guy in charge supports freedom of speech for everyone on the site. Drop by and have a look around, it's a friendly place. ^__^

Actually, I just put a link to the club in the posts I did for Zackfans, Soldiersmut, and Sephyfans, but to save you some time, here it is: Ukeroth Club.

I'll definitely check out your comms. I opened a Greatest Journal account when all the mayhem was occurring here, but I'm not as vigilant keeping that one up as I am this journal. Do you have to pay to have an account at the site you have your communities on? Funds are a little tight right now.

Thanks for your interest in the story. I'm not sure how explicit the love scene will be since it's a WIP. I still may post it here and simply attach multiple warnings to it. Or I may submit it at y!gallery and post a link to it here. Who knows. I'll let you know when I do finish it if you'd like. Take care!

If I hadn't read the fic and then clicked on your name instead of going back to the comm post, I would have found the link, wouldn't I? Doh! (Not enough sleep, too much coffee...)

Not at all! Free accounts still get you 100 userpics at InsaneJournal, and since it's a newer journaling site, the fans seem to be taking over quite nicely. )I've heard that GreatestJournal is set up more for RPG than fic, by the way.)

My philosophy is, make the story as explicit as it demands to be, attach necessary tags and warnings, and post that sucker! I'm not letting LJ scare me off or change my writing style, though I am setting up my escape route well in advance. (Paid account at InsaneJournal, reverting to basic here...yep, that'll work.)

Oh, you're making me blush! Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I hope fans will be as pleased with the love scene as they are with the story. Receiving praise like yours helps keep the muse sated and the love scene that much closer to being finished.
