Today a user on Facebook by the name of Matthew Kamina went around adding tons of people from Anime St. Louis.
I was pretty suspicious of them right off the bat, first person they even added was Barry and he was just as confused as me. Still don't get this part.

After they gathered about 10 of my mutual friends within 5 minutes, I then also received

Because he was so desperate to make friends through the Anime St. Louis forums, so was this Matthew guy, and after you said one thing to him he deleted his account on the forum.
And then a guy who was supposedly at Anime St. Louis but didn't cosplay shows up adding everyone who first he could find the facebook of through the forums, then on to other people through those people's friends lists.
Then one person says something, and they delete their facebook account.
