Just got done watching "Chopin: Desire for Love." Such a great movie. Suppose to be pretty accurate also and has a lot of famous virtuoso performers like I think it is Ashkenazy on piano and I know Yo Yo Ma does Cello. An no Pagels, not Impromptu!

I put all of my Chopin mp3s onto one play list and it is over 12 hours long! Actually, I guess since my collection came from 13 CDs I guess that is more like 13 hours long but I took off the sonatas so I could play it on random ( Read more... )

Well, I saw the keyboard director and played for him. I didn't do Moonlight Sonata like I originally wanted to because I knew it was far from ready. So I dug out In Church by Tchaikovsky and played that instead. Next I played Chopin's Prelude in A Major Op. 28, No. 7 but didn't finish. I get to wait until Friday to do my piano thing because the guy isn't feeling well.

I'm happy.

One of the people who are very important to me that I insulted recently says they forgive me but I don't believe they really mean it. I still think this person hates me.

So since that one is sad I guess I am just neutral since 1-1=0.

Well, I am glad that I decided to start tying to learn Moonlight because I've found that I shouldn't be soo intimidated by it like I was. That is how it has been for me with all of the classical pieces I've started. In my mind it is like "Oh my God, classical is way too advanced for me!" when really shouldn't.
