Here's mine:

11 lb turkey (me *sigh)
gravy (not sure I should be trusted)
lemon risotto (me)
potatoes of some kind (my bf)
pie (his mom)
salad (hopefully someone will make)
cranberry in a can (me)
Lots of wine (me)

I am protesting stuffing (I dont like it and don't want to make it)

Do you think there is anything major that I am forgetting?

To me, it's not thanksgiving without sweet potatoes (topped with an entire bag of marshmallows)

Gravy is tricky - I actually attempt to make my own from scratch but then fill it out with the jarred stuff (shh don't tell anyone... lol)

That's a bigass bird, Lauren

For my family... all 40 of us... the menu will be as follows:

Two cajun-injected infrared-ed turkeys (google it)
Soup with homemade beef filled tortellini (we all stand around a table and fold jillions of the little buggers by hand)
Mac-and-cheese
balsamic marinated mushrooms
Green bean casserole
Sweet taters
Chicken and dressing
salad of some sort...
steamed broccoli

desserts will abound and be eaten all weekend... pecan pie is certain to make an appearance along with every sort of cookie, pie and my uncle's homemade fudge.

I have no clue what Thanksgiving will be like. I think we're going to someone's house in Montgomery... here's what I think is going to go down.

Adventure
Mayhem
Madness
Someone might choke on some food
Trying to find normal people to talk to.

I'd like to omit the last two things but I'm afraid that they might sneak up on me so I'd like to be prepared. Adventure for sure.
