Godric really is quite deliciously dominant, isn't he? Even when he's going fluffy. Heh. Nice sensory details in this -- I especially loved the scent of milk and hay in the butter, and the idea that it might be a false memory.

Top Godric is absolutely my favorite flavor. And I'm glad you enjoyed the sensory details -- it was an experiment for me, giving that more weight instead of the usual porn. Not that I don't enjoy the porn...

I think, for me, it's the aspect of denial--you can look at it, smell it, touch it, you can (maybe) remember what it tastes like, but you can't have it. Which works so well here. That scene with the butter and the eggs...lord have mercy.

I was engrossed reading this as concentrated and serious as the fic allowed ;) and just then I came across this line "I'm … it's for Mary Sue. The … the girl down the street. It's her high school graduation…"

eeeeeeeeeeeeee food porn. Although this was in fact a concerted effort at a new direction, since I sort of ... wore myself out with my last two Giant, Unhappy Fics. I'm going to ease back into this. That said, I have a couple of drafts of things I'm trying to figure out how fo tinish.

I cannot WAIT for tonight! Eric looks delicious, even if they're not following my strongly suggested plotlines. (Why won't Alan Ball take my calls?)
