In case it's keeping you up at night, yes, I am still alive (and thanks for the PMs.)  I'm working on a more extended writing project with a different cast of characters.  It's not going as smoothly as I'd like, but I'm making progress, still working on finding my voice.  If/when I get it to a point where I'm satisfied I'll post some of it.

Hey there - I just popped on here! Sorry for the deafening silence... I'm putting my creative energies toward a fic that is all mine, for a change, with all the positives and negatives that involves (like: plot and character creation!) But I was ready to try it.

I've always been curious about your original work (Do you have anything published yet?, are you keeping it a secret? Will you always keep it a secret? ) my point is that you can be sure I will be delighted to read it :D

I don't have anything published -- although I'm hoping that the thing I'm working on will at least become of publishable length. Hoping it will not always be a secret - but I feel very protective of it right now while it's small and lumpy and misshapen :) I just felt like I owed it to you to tell, so you wouldn't think I'd been hit by a bus, or stopped writing entirely.
