i find it amazing how little media this is getting. ALL OF CANADA'S LITERARY PUBLICATIONS. am i wrong in thinking this is a huge, huge motion against the arts by our lovely government? aside from the unsurprising fact that the first faculties in most universities that are being closed down due to budget cuts are within the arts...

it's also somewhat sad that the facebook group for it (http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=53103444468&topic=11256#/group.php?gid=53103444468) has under 5000 people... if everyone in the group subscribed to every literary journal out there it would still not be enough. just logistics though, i'm not sure what a facebook group counts for.
