Laurie settles her chin in her hand and looks at the man sitting across from her. And yes, he is a man, glowing or no.

“So.” She says, a lopsided grin growing on her face, “You know the future. Tell me how this first date goes.”

He looks at her with his star-bright eyes and something that could be a smile tilts his lips. “By your standards, it goes well.”

“Oh yeah?” Laurie leans forward with a challenging smirk on her face, “How’s that?”

“We have sexual intercourse.”

Laurie laughs. “You can’t tell me what to do.”

Jon just smiles.

Oh my god that is good! You've managed to pack their future problems in their first date. I reckon this also opens up the potential line that Jon's prescience also worked in his favor in a way, much as Laurie rebels here, I can't help but think it was a bit of a turn on at the same time for her.

The Dreiberg matron looks from one sheepish man to another, hands on her hips and an eyebrow raised. It’s not as though she doesn’t know what’s happening. Danny had never been good at being subtle and the young man he’s with is blushing the color of a fire hydrant. It isn’t particularly flattering on him; it clashes with his hair.

“Uh.” Her son stammers, glancing at his…well, boyfriend, she supposed. “Mom, this is Walter. We’re… uhm.” Walter glances up at her and she is distantly aware that he looks a little terrified.

“Well, at least we won’t have to worry about anyone getting knocked up.” She proclaims, saving Danny from having to explain himself. She smirks at both of their dumbfounded expressions. “Anyways, I made cookies.”
