Yo. So I got tired of being canon and such and decided to be self-indulgent today. This is a sort of fix-it for the Blaire Roche case. Because I want Rorschach to be helped for once goddamn it. AU for sure.

DAW! :sniffles: If only! DX :SOBS: I take it this was the other direction you were thinking of takeing 'Chaos' but didn't? You should write 2 fics now, the canon Chaos Ensues, and then this AU X3. I enjoyed this, made me feel all warm. I am glad you kept Chaos dark, but I am also really happy you shared this too. 'Cause you know in their hearts both guys would have rather it been this way, its just that neither of them believed it could be. I like your use of the paint can as a plot device as well.

I know right. :( Yeah, I totally fought with myself at about chapter 25 and how I wanted it to go. I really really REEEEALLY wanted to do this instead. But I couldn't. :( SO I gave them this. Because I love them. <3

Also, I will totally post more of these self-indulgent things all over the place. :3 Thanks for the support!

I absolutely love this take on Rorschach after the Roche incident. The panicky remorsefulness instead of going completely out of his mind. It's so sad, but as long as he's not totally insane, there's still hope for Dan to help him, right?

I know, right? :( The whole damn situation is too awful for him to ever be okay, but yeah, the idea is that even if he becomes a little more grimdark and existential and shit, he won't be as bad as he was in the GN because Dan (and the awesome life saving paintcan!) is there. Also, I think he had a freakout similar in canon!75, but he was all by himself and then he just went nuts because nobody was there to sit it out with him. WHICH IS SAD. :(

Aww, don't make me think about poor Rory all by himself having to deal with that!! Though you're probably right...dang, it's even sadder than it was 35 minutes ago. ;_;

I feel like an awful person for laughing as loudly as I did re: 35 minutes ago comment. :3 But yeah, seeing as Ror's a usually solitary creature and so I think he just went through it himself. :(
