schoolwise, which is really the least of it at this point, you know what i miss most?  non-powerpoint lectures, writing on the chalkboard, slides!, samples...  really, anything that doesn't have a powerpoint would recieve a standing ovation from me at this point.  who knew that was so rare...

i have to say i'm glad that peach i just ate was so good.  i was beginning to be disappointed with the recent peaches.  but it's good the others were just blips in the fantastic peach season.

there is a cicada living in the big storage room attached to my office.  it's a lively and cranky cicada, i am noticing, and wish it would find it's way back outside.  also, i caught the seventh cicada living in my apartment this morning.  a real quick one.  in other news, i bought a venus flytrap online yesterday.  it should be here in a few days.

sort of hate to say it, but i'm bored.  and sort of lethargic and i don't want to do anything.  i'm supposed to be scanning my billets - haven't.  although i sort of have an unlimited amount of time to do it.  maybe tomorrow after lab 3 ( Read more... )

i just feel like crying a little bit and don't really know why.

there are ants now and dirty feet and flip flops and baseball and sunscreen and laying in the grass in positions i only ever imagined.  it is so good.  all of it.  but there is a paper and an exam and a lab and a thesis defense and three finals first.
