On the speeches

I enjoyed Obama's speech.  When he spoke of the 106 year old woman,  mentioned so many historical events that she has lived through, and then finished by saying this year she touched her finger to a screen...  that was very moving.  When he spoke to the other nations, I felt America being empowered.  The unity both parties seem to be encouraging

I felt like those old dudes that wore wigs were ancient history too! I like learning about American history, but I'm excited to learn about what was going on in all parts of the world during our history.

About how long the history of America is, I found that USA is relatively a new nation when compared to Egypt, my country. The history of Egypt extends to 5000 years B.C., that's a lot for me!
