Flourish, will do! Yes, I am so behind in the times with XFiles it's rather sad. I hate stories written about them where their peresonalities are child-like and teenager. I mean, we get that with all fanfiction, but sometimes a gem pops up.

So basically everything on xf_book_club. Those also have great comments on them so you can see if you like it or not.

So many good X-files fics are broken links now! One of my favorites which maybe isn't the best written but has a lot of heart and some great original characters (I know, right? But it does, I promise) is "Future Horizons."

"Oklahoma" by Amperage and Livengoo is just Mulder, as a profiler, not Mulder and Scully... but it's a classic X-files fanfic and it's a classic for a reason.

Corpse is another really great case file, this time Mulder and Scully, but not a romance. From an OC's perspective, like "Future Horizons," so YMMV.

Thank you so much for the recs. I really really needed them. Found a couple of "decent" ones on the "Crossroads?" website, but like you said, a lot are defunct and broken.
