Much much better :) But I still hope he worries a little bit... just for the hurt he put her through with the tabloid pics. This fic is so awesome (and I'm a little evil today lol)
I started reading this story on Monday, after you posted the previous chapter, and I stayed up so late today reading from the beginning, because I just couldn't stop. You're such an incredible writer and you've created such a compelling story. I've been biting my fingernails and I didn't want to read this chapter until I read the whole thing first and OMG. I'm a wreck! The build-up
( ... )
Well, you timed your reading well. I would have hated it if you caught up on last chapter.
The message was important, as I tinkered with the wording a lot, but I wanted it to be simple and vulnerable. Oliver didn't need much, just a tiny push... and that seemed to be enough.
You're not the only one mad at Ollie. Frankly, I'm a little surprised at the response, but I suppose that's the advantage of being the author and knows what comes next.
Although I don't think I would be overly coherent at 4 am... so props for that! I'm super humbled that you stayed up to read this at 4 am. Thanks so much!
So, I was wrong about Mia being the third woman. Oh well, that doesn't matter. XD It was an amazing chapter.
Chloe and Oliver have really the best of friends in this story. It seems for me that Oliver convo with Leah was the most effective for him and that because she set up a challenge/ultimatum/deal "I’ll tell them when you tell her." And it's all come down to Oliver being a good friend too, for her. But he still has what the others said in mind too, obviously.
The Chloe/Ian convo was great as well, with Chloe finally deciding to go to wedding.
I love that Chloe called him/left a message when he was finally ready to call her too.
I also want to add that I'm not mad at Oliver in this story.
To be honest, I completely forgot about Mia. I thought about adding her in when you suggested her, but I never found a place.
The challenge is always important, but it's also Oliver looking out for his friends, like you say. He doesn't take good care of himself, but when he has a chance to improve someone else's life... he'll do it. It especially helps when Chloe gives him what he was looking for.
I'm glad you're not mad at Oliver. I was a little surprised at the response, but I've attributed that to knowing what happens next. Hopefully you enjoy that, but in the meantime, thanks for the comment!
Thank you Leah!!! Thank you Ian!!! I really love that it was like these two were the final straw to get Chlollie on track back to one another. Thanks for sharing.

It's not necessarily a cakewalk for Ollie, as he runs into someone else first... but he knows that he's got a lot of explaining to do.
