This was a beautiful meditation on where they both were emotionally before the Watchtower scene. I think it was sweet of you not to want to tread on Reintegration. It's not that you wouldn't have done a bang-up job, but as you said, it's been done before and there are other less explored parts of the episode, like delving into their respective headspaces in Collateral.

this was the part of the relationship that always scared her...Chloe was still figuring out whether that was a good or bad thing. This right here is why Chloe is my favorite character. She is incredibly strong-willed and brave, has faced monsters and aliens, but is terrified of abandonment and her own emotions. The simple fact that Oliver trusts her scares her to death, because at this point she's not sure she even trusts herself.

And that is why she needs him so much. It was more than a relationship, it was a partnership. Beautiful and so true. I've always felt these two were more than a mere couple, and it's why I love them so.
