Poor Chloe I can imagine how hard is for her to find out what kind of person Lex really is And I'm so glad she's finally moving on and trying a real thing with Ollie Thanks for sharing
It is tough, but she's got a strong group of people around her. Her relationship with Ollie is important though and it'll help her through what's coming. Thanks for the comment!
I appreciate the sentiment Keiko, even though I'm a month late in officially thanking you. I think with work stress subsiding that I'll be able to write more, but I'm glad you enjoyed this!
Looks like you hurdled your writer's block, yay! It's so strange but wonderful to see these two have a quasi-normal relationship for once.
I'm going to say it AGAIN, but I love how you write Chloe (I promise, I do not copy/paste my reviews). She has such a quiet, understated strength that you capture so well. Standing her ground with Lex, facing the public at Oliver's side. It's the difference between her and Lois. They're both incredibly strong characters, Lois is just a lot more in your face about it. That's not a dig at Lois, I would always want her on my side. It just makes Chloe unique to see such a compassionate character be utterly fearless.
The sex scene was well done, and their conversation after was perfection. But it's apparently the calm before the storm, because it looks like trouble is on it's way. Great cliffhanger, wonderful chapter! :)
As you know, I wish that was the case. The next chapter may be finally up now, but I think I'm finally getting my muse back now. Which sucks because I have a bunch of things on hold due to it.
I know you don't copy/paste, but I appreciate it every time you say it. Chloe isn't the easiest character to write, especially when this a more personal universe, so I'm glad that she still appears in character.
Definitely the calm before the storm. There will be some calm moments, but I'm not holding back much in the coming chapters. Hopefully you enjoy what's next.
