Love the way you wove the song into the story. Especially loved these lines:
- "He constantly finds ways to put her first, even when she doesn't want him to."
- "Chloe has no idea how long this little bubble will last, but she is determined to not be the one to pop it." This is Chloe accepting that she can be happy. She's done with denial.
- “'Good,' he said, a word Chloe is growing especially fond of, especially since Oliver's building a habit of kissing her after saying it." This inspired me to watch the clip of Collateral, when Ollie responds "Good," when Chloe responds in the affirmative that sticking around for a while, then proceeds to kiss her. Love this callback and attention to their history.
Hope all is well in RL and that your muse returns in full force :)

I'm glad you liked those lines, as it seems like Chloe finally lets herself relax in the relationship after Fortune.
As for the Collateral callback, I am a sucker for that moment. A lot of people don't like the dialogue in that scene, but I love that moment from that question to his response.
Things in RL are... well they're still complicated, so the muse comes and goes, but I appreciate the well wishes.

And I have to again highlight how much I loved Chloe saying "Good morning sunshine" (something we agreed would normally be an Oliver line). It's something that married people (or anyone who hangs around together a lot) do unintentionally - start to talk like each other and adopt each other's mannerisms. So that's my favorite part. :)
Love, love. Thank you for this. ♥

And I like your take on that line, especially since I totally steal vocabulary from my family members.
