It's been a hard past few days to go through the motions of being alright. However she had a few friends that helped make things better. They would get better. She had to believe that or else she would drive herself mad.

She was furious at Gideon and then a part of her worried what he would do if she never went back. She sighed softly, she'd kept her distance from their home and Gideon's but she was now worried about Sera, regardless of how John felt about her? She felt bad that Sera was hurt by the whole thing.

She was staying at Gian's, he was the one person that she could call if anything happened. He was there for her, a good friend. Even if it was perhaps one of the most toxic relationships in existence. Quietly she knocked on the door to the house and waited, wrapping her arms around her mid-section.

"Better not be Curwen," Sera muttered as she reluctantly pulled herself off the couch. Not noticing she was still carrying the stuffed toy, she went to open the door.

"Bisjou? Hi. Come in. Don't worry, Daddy John's not around and Gideon isn't here.

Are you OK? I'm so relieved it's you and not... someone else."

Bisjou eyed the stuffed animal and hesitated a moment before stepping in.

"I'm fine Sera."

"Want a glass of water or something?"

Sera noticed she was still holding the toy, frowned a little and put it down.

"Have a seat. You sure you're OK? I was really worried about you."

"Yeah, he is. And usually that's a good thing. But right now? I'm just really mad at him.

And yeah, I dislike closed minded people too. I've met a few who don't approve of my parents, you know, the way the three of them live..."

"He made a mistake. I just..can't forgive him yet. He just took any trust I had for him and destroyed it. I don't know if he can ever gain it back. How can I be so sure that he won't hurt Gian? Or Deacon? It seems I attract the men as friends. " She gave a small laugh and shook her head. "Your parents make it work, that's what's important."

"I'd just love to kick his butt right now. And when Daddy John finds out..." Sera sighed a bit.

"What he did was just so - awful. And I don't think he'd hurt your friends. At least I hope not." Sera felt so sad and confused. She dearly loved Gid, but she was so mad with him it literally hurt.

"Yeah. They do. I just hope I find someone who's as wonderful as they all are some day."
