....I feel *so* anxious right now and I don't even know why. O___o It's totally wigging me out. I have to drive back to Princeton tomorrow and I feel awful because I should be enjoying my last night at home, but I'm feeling really shitty and off and it's makin' me crazy ( Read more... )

I think it was a mix of me knowing more than the average American, sensitive to changes, and having a hormone filled day. >___<

I just think I know far too much about Japanese culture and geisha to be able to enjoy it....it was just filled with inaccuraticies. Definately a case where ingnrance is bliss. ;) They were pretty faithful to the book and it certainy is a *beautiful* film. So if you were planning on seeing it you should still go, just to a matinee. :D

Sorry, this is a little off-topic for your post. I followed a link from the blog post on the Immortal Geisha, and I realized that I see you around everywhere on LJ! I thought I'd seen some of your posts on tezukuri or maybe craftgrrl, too, though?
