This was the inspiration for the new user icon I'm sporting! I got it from satyr69.... Not sure where he got it. But I love it!

I still say that the Original SNL skit wins. GOD they looked worse than real geeks. Speaking of skit remakes, it's to bad I'm the only one I know into esoteric remakes of bad (or funny-bad) comedy skits. Take for instance the "How not to be seen" skit from Monty Pythons Flying Circus (Or was it from the Meaning of life only? I forget.), Redone for a game called "Operation: Flashpoint", A too incredibly hard FPS based around the Veitnam era. VERY funny watching civilians from the game get blown out from behind bushes, and out from trenches. Hell, The "Evils of D&D" Has been redone so many tames it's almost cult classic status. Hell, it IS cult classic status. Someone should put all those small clips and what not together and make a DVD for the public! Wait... Most geeks are online now, aren't they? NM ^^;;

Actually, it's an audio clip by the Dead Alewives. Of course, SNL might well have stolen it, but I've heard the original and it's definitely them. The writers on SNL were too busy looking down on the poor at Harvard and Yale to spend time playing D&D.

On another note: Stephen Lynch's song "D&D" might be the perfect geek song.
